About this bar
Our 70% Madagascar is made with cacao from the Sambirano Valley in northwest Madagascar — one of the most prized growing regions in the world. The characteristic flavour is bright red fruit (think raspberry and red cherry) with an acidic snap that makes it feel alive. We stone-grind the nibs for 60 hours to keep the fruit notes intact. The bar is 70% cacao — approachable but still serious chocolate.
Storage: keep at 16-18°C, eat within 8 weeks. No refrigeration needed.
Ingredients
Dark chocolate (cocoa mass, cocoa butter, sugar). 70% cacao minimum. No soy lecithin, no vanilla, no flavouring.
Allergens: none. Made in a facility that also handles milk, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, and wheat.
Dietary: vegan, dairy-free. Not gluten-free (shared facility).
Tasting notes
On the nose: bright red fruit, a hint of citrus from the Madagascar roast.
On the palate: the chocolate opens with clean cocoa, then the fruit notes flood in — raspberry and cherry, with a long acidic finish that lingers clean.
Drink with: a glass of Pinot Noir, a cup of black tea, or a glass of dry sparkling water. Goes well with fresh raspberries on the side.
Best moment: as an afternoon snack with coffee, or after dinner with a glass of something red.

Best caramel in the city
I have tried every chocolatier in Toronto and Aline's salted caramel is genuinely the best. The chocolate is dark and serious, the caramel is the real deal (not too sweet, proper buttery depth), and the salt is the right amount. Worth every penny.

Sent these to clients, everyone asked where they're from
Ordered 3 boxes for client gifts. The packaging is beautiful, they arrived in perfect condition, and three of my clients emailed me to ask who the chocolatier was. Now they're Aline customers too.

Almost perfect, just a touch sweet for me
Beautiful bonbon, the salt really does make a difference. Personally I find the caramel a touch on the sweet side — would love to see a 70% version. But the quality is undeniable and the hand-painted design is gorgeous.
